Fabulous late 1970's or early 1980's Lanvin Etruscan Revival Butterfly Necklace
This necklace features beautiful Rose Quartz colored beads and faux pearls, I do not have a gem tester, they could be genuine, Lanvin made only the best.
The necklace features 4 small butterflies 5/8 ", 2 medium butterflies 1 ", and a single large butterfly 1 5/8 inches wide.
I have 2 of these necklaces, both have original paper hang tags , one has the original oval Lanvin Paris metal hang tag.
These were salesman samples/old stock so it probably got lost somehow, also I have smaller versions with the oval plaque on the back of the butterfly, those are in a separate listing.
This gorgeous gold tone rolo chain necklace with the butterfly dangles has a wearable length of 30 inches
Very good size and very wearable.
New Old Stock so Very, Very Good Vintage condition,

It is stunning on. This reminds me of the old Goldette jewelry. Very classic Byzantine or Etruscan inspired style.
All the medallions are in beautiful condition. Unbelievable to find these matching pieces.
These are from a Boutique I bought in Atlanta, I believe the owner kept these because they were Samples.
Many were on original velvet boards and the tags have the original wholesale prices and descriptions of what colors were available.
I purchased a large approximately 50-75 piece collection.
I also was able to purchase about 40 pieces of Valentino New Old Stock as well with original tags.
Look for those listings in my shop, these pieces will go quickly as they are very rarely available.
This necklace is signed not signed but has the paper hangtag and matches the earrings perfectly.
Please see the companion pieces to verify identical design elements.
Earrings are signed with the Lanvin Paris plaque.
Please see the photos.
This Set is very eye catching.
I have also included a photo of the necklace paired with another necklace from this collection.
Wearing them together would be a fabulous statement look.
The earrings feature the identical motif of the necklace.
Lanvin is a Fashion Icon, this type of set rarely surfaces in its entirety or in this original new condition.
Please check my other listings for companion sets. And Valentino from this same new old stock boutique buy
A little bit about Lanvin
Founded in 1889, Lanvin is considered Paris’ oldest couture house, and yet is still to this day its most iconic.
Legendary designer Jeanne Lanvin built a fashion empire, perhaps the first of its kind.
By the 1920s Lanvin had already expanded into home décor, fur goods, menswear, fragrances, and jewelry, all of which were shockingly modern to the French establishment.
Lanvin’s designs of then, as now, looked toward contemporary art for inspiration and often incorporated Deco modernist motifs as.
In the late 1960s, Lanvin produced a series of carved plastic pendants on chains in the style of pop art, and today they are still very popular.
Other collections were inspired by historic elegance and reflect a more Renaissance, Byzantine or Etruscan look.
Traditionally, the brand “Lanvin” is synonymous with amazing, gorgeous, original fashion jewelry.
For more than a century, the unique Lanvin brand produced huge numbers of costume jewelry designs renowned throughout the world.
The quality and sophistication of the Lanvin line is timeless, as shown in this beautiful Byzantine inspired parure.
Lanvin will serve as a talisman of 20th century luxury fashion.
