Fabulous Vintage Valentino 1970's Shell design Necklace with matching bracelet
This gorgeous Gold tone dimensional Shell design Pendant is 2.5 X 3 inches and
features a dangle of natural white coral, red coral and a pearl. (don't think it is a real pearl, but maybe)
The pendant is suspended from a beautiful silk rope that could be adjusted up to 24 inches,
I think that 20 inches is the ideal length. The silk cord has gold tube end caps with a pearl and coral bead dangle
SO PRETTY!
The clamper bracelet has the same beautiful dimensional shells and opens at the top, see photo.
This bracelet will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist
Necklace and bracelet have original paper hang tags.
Necklace and bracelet have Valentino oval cartouche.
Bracelet has been in the original stock Valentino bag for 50 years! WOW

It is stunning on. Lovely for dress up or casual wear, so very versatile and Classic Style.
All the Stations are in beautiful condition. Unbelievable to find these matching pieces.
These are from a Boutique I bought in Atlanta, I believe the owner kept these because they were Samples.
Many were on original velvet boards and the tags have the original wholesale prices and descriptions of what colors were available.
I purchased a large approximately 50-75 piece collection.
I also was able to purchase about 40 pieces of Valentino New Old Stock as well with original tags.
Look for those listings in my shop, these pieces will go quickly as they are very rarely available.
This necklace is signed not signed but has the paper hangtag and matches the earrings and bracelet perfectly.
Please see the photos.
This Set is very eye catching.
Please check my other listings for companion sets.
A little bit about Valentino according to Worthpoint
Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti founded the House of Valentino in 1960, according to the Valentino website. The acclaimed fashion house has designed both haute couture and ready-to-wear clothing collections in the ensuing decades, along with various accessories for both men and women.
Jewelry for Valentino was produced by several well-known European costume jewelry firms, including Coppola e Toppo, Hurel, and the Soriano sisters, according to “Costume Jewelry for Haute Couture” by Florence Muller. Many of those pieces were limited creations for runway wear. Jewelry collections accompanying ready-to-wear clothing lines were made as well, particularly in the 1980s and '90s. These are the types of pieces most often found by collectors today.
These pieces are all circa 1970, when Valentino was using the round cartouche and had just begun using the Oval with V logo design on jewelry.
