Robin Kahn 1984 Coty Award winning Designer Ruby Star Belt / Necklace and Earrings

This is a fabulous Set, Robin Kahn was known for belts so I feel this was a belt.
In 1984 at the Coty Awards Two special awards were also given, one to Robin Kahn for belts.
Robin Kahn Belts and belt buckles are iconic and So Very Under Appreciated.
This belt makes an Incredible necklace, especially as it has these fabulous matching earrings.
The fabulous Ruby Star slinky snake belt has a wearable length of 36 inches with a 4 inch dangle.
The Ruby Star earrings and the pendant/buckle are 2 inches wide.
These are in very good condition, the is a bit of plate loss on the underside of the buckle as shown in the photos.

The belt has an original store tag and is unsigned.
The earrings are signed and are on the original store card.
I have several pair of earrings that match this belt in a separate listing.

It is stunning on. Lovely for dress up or casual wear, so very versatile and Classic Style.
Unbelievable to find these matching pieces.
These are from a Boutique I bought in Atlanta, I believe the owner kept these because they were Samples.
Many were on original velvet boards and the tags have the original wholesale prices and descriptions of what colors were available.
I purchased a large approximately 1000 piece collection.
I also was able to purchase about 40-80 pieces of Valentino and Lanvin New Old Stock as well with original tags.
Look for those listings in my shop, these pieces will go quickly as they are very rarely available.
This necklace is signed not signed but has the paper hangtag and matches the earrings and bracelet perfectly.
