In a floral circular bow design and set with clear rhinestones in a rhodium plated metal the brooch is very poorly marked on the back 'Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer' and would date from between 1952 to 1956 when Mitchel Maer designed pieces for Dior. This set was most likely made in Germany as was the case with similar pieces of this time period. The impressed mark is very lightly pressed but is present.
The Brooch measures 1 1/8 inch across , the smaller pin is 7/8 inch.
Both fasten with a secure safety clasp.
The brooches are in excellent condition with no damage.
All of the stones are bright and sparkle beautifully, although this may not be apparent in my photos.
