Ben Gartner who did business as the Circle Jewelry Co., first used the mark of "Goldette N.Y". in the fall of 1955.
Goldette produced most of their jewelry designed in a Victorian and Egyptian Revival style in antiqued gold fashion or silver finish, they are also known for their large leaded glass sets, intaglios, fobs and locket pendants.
This gorgeous necklace is slightly more than 15 inches around the neck with the central medallion and chain dangle 6.5 inches from the connector to the bottom of the droplets.
Very good size and very wearable. Very Good Vintage condition, some slight wear to the bars on the distinctive fold over clasp. Please see last photo.
This necklace is unsigned, but the distinctive clasp, the construction and design elements are Goldette.
There is a spot on the back that could have had a plaque attached. This necklace is very eye catching.
