Early Unsigned Sapphire Deco Design Dress Clip pair, May have been a Duette

Fabulous Early Deco design rhinestone dress clip

Beautiful design features a top overlay of clear baguettes with a cyrved edge if 8 /x 10 oval sapphire rhinestones and a central portion with strands of clear chatons.

This pair of clips was probably a Duette. I base this on the design, see the photos to see how they would look if they were in a duette clip mechanism.


This style clip dates to the 1930's. Patents for similarly designed clips date this to 1938. Heavy Gold tone finish, very good vintage condition on the face, the back has a few tiny scratches consistent with wear and shown in the photos, please look carefully at photos. These clips have been worn, but remain in great wearable condition. These look like Gold over Sterling but I cannot find it signed sterling anywhere. I believe these are all original stones. All stones are present and bright. These would be a fabulous embellishment for your Mask as they are lightweight.
